Scottish Wrestling Network feature #3: “Andy Roberts Seeks FCW/Discovery/UEWA Triple Crown” up now

A third Ecstasy of Gold Wrestling article for the Scottish Wrestling Network is up now: “Andy Roberts Seeks FCW/Discovery/UEWA Triple Crown.”

The article looks ahead to three upcoming championship matches in which Andy Roberts seeks to regain his status as a Triple Crown Champion, which he last held over a decade ago under the Andy Wild name.

In 2012 and 2013, Wild held the ICW Zero-G Championship, BCW Openweight Championship and PWE World World Heavyweight Championship simultaneously. He fought hard for these titles in matches with Noam Dar, Wolfgang, Nick Aldis, Kris Travis, Grado, Lionheart, Robbie E, Johnny Moss, Liam Thomson, BT Gunn, Dave Mastiff, Bad Bones, Kenny Williams and Mark Coffey, amongst others.

To close out 2023, Andy Roberts will be challenging for both the FCW Heavyweight Championship (October 13th, at FCW’s Fair City Rumble in Perth, Scotland) and the Discovery Wrestling Y Division Championship (November 3rd at Friday Night Disco: Party in Porty in Edinburgh, Scotland).

If he’s able to capture these titles, he will once again be Andy 3 Belts. But win or lose, he will again be tasked with defending his record-breaking UEWA European Heavyweight Championship reign before 2024 rolls around. This time he will be facing the significant threat of Frank Gallo for Fife Pro Wrestling Asylum (December 7th at ‘Twas A Night At The Wrestling 2 in Fife, Scotland).
